Absolute Kitchens offers a 7-year limited warranty on all workmanship for our vinyl doors.
Warranty is only valid if job number and address can be confirmed and Absolute Kitchens has been paid in full.
Any part that has a valid warranty claim will be replaced or repaired by Absolute Kitchens.
Where site attendance is required to replace or repair a warranted product, addresses in the Perth Metro area are attended by Absolute Kitchens free of charge, as part of our warranty.
Warranty does not include defects, discolouration, peeling or other imperfections and faults that are a result of any of the following:
a) Water & Steam Damage:
Damage caused by steam, excessive moisture, or water exposure.
b) Heat Damage:
Cracks, scorching, peeling or other damage from hot appliances or similar items coming into contact with the surface, including hot air that vents from appliances such as cooktops, air-fryers and similar. Please note doors above cooktops, i.e., rangehood doors are NOT covered under warranty.
c) Heavy Weight or Impact:
Damage from placing heavy objects on or against the surface, standing, sitting, or lying on the product, or impacts such as dropping, scraping, or mishandling product.
j) Inappropriate Use:
Use in outdoor areas or exposure to UV sunlight or environmental elements not intended for interior products.
m) Colour & Gloss Variations:
Natural variations or changes in colour, gloss, shine, or ageing over time, including differences between original and replacement products.
n) Surface Imperfections:
Visible surface or edge imperfections beyond accepted industry standards—such as chips, dents, scratches, or irregularities—that have not been reported within specified time frame from site install or the delivery of products by Absolute Kitchens to buyer’s premises.**
d) Chemical & Food Exposure:
Damage from acidic food (e.g., vinegar, salt, citrus juices) or harsh chemicals including dyes, bleach, solvents, acetone, and other corrosive substances.
e) Incorrect Cleaning Products:
Use of abrasive or unsuitable household cleaners such as cream/powder cleansers, oven or drain cleaners, furniture polish/wax, sugar soap, or highly alkaline/acidic products.
f) Structural Movement:
Warping, bowing, twisting, or shrinkage due to changes in the supporting structure, building movement, or hydrostatic pressure.
g) Unauthorised Modifications:
Any alterations made by individuals or parties not approved by Absolute Kitchens.
To the extent permitted by law, Absolute Kitchens shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising out of or in connection with the purchase, use, inability to use, supply, or removal of the product. This includes, without limitation, any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, such as loss of profit or revenue, loss of contracts, or increased operational costs, whether arising in contract, negligence, or otherwise.
**The specified time frame to report surface imperfections is 2 business days from install or site delivery by Absolute Kitchens. Clients who pick up products direct from Absolute Kitchens must sign off on surface quality before product leaves Absolute Kitchens premises.
